Jordan Day Reid, better known by his moniker JD. REID, is a British artist, and double platinum-selling composer and producer. Hailing from North West London and with a catalogue steeped in electronica, hip-hop, grime, trap, R&B, jazz, indie and mainstream popular music, JD. REID represents the melting pot that is his London home. In his career as a songwriter and producer, he has amassed over 700m global streams working with artists such as Mabel, Biig Piig, Ms Banks, Celeste, Yazmin Lacey and Sudan Archives. Most recently, JD. REID co-wrote and exec/produced Mahalia’s (x2 BRIT Awards nominee) new album ‘IRL’.
As a solo artist, JD. REID has released several critically acclaimed records, including his album ‘Tree’ which featured his collaborations with Katy B and Ghetts, among others. His newest EP ’sometimes in wonder’ is out now via his own label ‘Baby Gravy’.
2024 is shaping up to be a busy year for JD. REID with Kelela releasing his brilliant remix of ‘Holier’ (ft. Shygirl), and he is currently working on new releases for Jeshi, Sudan Archives, Sinéad Harnett, Kojey Radical, Yazmin Lacey and James Vickery.
